Harley-Davidson That Rumbled Around Talladega
Finds New Home at International Motorsports Hall of
Fame and Museum

TALLADEGA, Ala. – For over twenty-five years, two American legends have maintained a quiet working relationship in the foothills of Alabama, while the successes of their unique relationship roll across the nation. Since 1981, Harley-Davidson Motor Company has utilized the famed Talladega Superspeedway to test its world-renowned motorcycles.

Day in and day out, Harley-Davidson test riders brave the elements piloting motorcycles around the 2.66 mile tri-oval and over the winding turns of the infield road course.

Visitors to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum, adjacent to Talladega Superspeedway, will be excited to find a former test motorcycle currently on display in the Staley Building.

The Harley-Davidson test motorcycle is a must-see display for any motorcycle enthusiast. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults, $5 for kids age 7 to 17 and free for kids age 6 and younger. Combo packages that include both tours of the museum and Talladega Superspeedway are $12 for adults, $8 for kids age 7 to 17 and free for kids age 6 and younger.

Opened in April of 1983, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history of motorsports. It is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7 days a week with the exception of major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter).
