A Nite At The Museum

TALLADEGA, AL – The International Motorsports Hall of Fame will host “A Nite At The Museum” fundraiser which will feature the popular beach band Swingin’ Medallions, a racing memorabilia auction and dinner on Saturday, August 1, 2015.

The Swingin’ Medallions – a Southern tradition since 1962 – will get guests dancing to beach music with their signature high-energy style that delights audiences of all ages. Featured on the hit NBC television series American Dreams the Medallions are known for their famous 1.2 million-selling hit album, “Double Shot of My Baby’s Love”. Their act, as well as their music, is timeless.

Classic on Noble, a staple in fine dinning in Anniston, AL, will serve dinner at 6:00 p.m. and the racing memorabilia auction conducted by New Generation Motorsports Marketing, LLC, will start at 7:00 p.m. One anticipated auction item will be a replica IMHOF ring that was presented to seven-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Richard Petty during the Hall’s 1989 induction ceremony. Items from the auction will continue to be auctioned off during the band’s intermissions.

The International Motorsports Hall of Fame, a place where legends live on forever, will open its doors at 5:00 p.m. for exclusive museum tours so attendees can wander the halls that showcase the legacies of 144 Hall of Fame Inductees from across the globe. In addition, they will see history-making vehicles and indulge in the numerous exhibits showcasing racing’s most valuable keepsakes all in one place. The array consists of a variety – NASCAR, Indy Car, NHRA, Formula 1, motorcycles, go-karts, as well as a unique rocket car, the first to break the speed of sound.

Tickets are $75.00 each or $500 for a table of eight. The party will be held in the 37,000 square foot FOX Sports 1 Dome at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame, which sits adjacent to Talladega Superspeedway.

All ticket sales, donations and sponsorships are 100% tax deductible for the 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Corporate and Civic Organizations are welcomed for sponsorships and participation. Tickets can be purchased at the IMHOF and are now on sale.

All Proceeds will benefit the International Motorsports Hall of Fame by helping refurbish the beloved museum and by bringing in new exhibits.
